Your dad is probaly … Your dad is probaly correct. Family often does not respond the same way, becasue they see us as “dad” or “brothter” rather than as a professional. But if you want to learn hypnosis, you can practive with your dad and you will both get good hypnotizing each other. I have one son who wont respond to me as a hypnotist, and another who goes into trance instantly… with family it just all depends
